The Guardianship is done. Who gets all the kids?

So last night this happened...

Pavana Died

Kevin died

Kevin Pleaded to live and lost

Sohni did not listen to any advice and proposed to Kevin, who accepted.

Naturally, Kassimena was left to Pavana's sisters Anuva and Sohni. The deaths were too much on Anuva so she moved out to a smaller home. This left Sohni and Kassimena by themselves. Meanwhile it was decided that the youngest of Dominic's children (the triplets Isis, Issac and Isaiah) would be under the guardianship of their grandfather, Kermit. Since Kermit is going to marry Sohni, Beth the triplets mother, allowed Sohni to come pick up the triplets and bring them to their new home so they can be situated.

My weird news of the day is that Kassimena, though a child, already has a college degree. This makes no sense to me whatsoever, but I kind of like it. It will come in handy for her one day.

8/10/2014 Who is going to take the children? Big family problems.

So some of the children in the Mahali family are missing, but are still on the family tree. I am not sure if the social worker came and took them, or if it is a glitch. For sanity sake, I am going with the social worker option.

Right now I am in the iconic Mahali house, where most of the people are elders. Kevin, now a level 5 resident doctor, and his wife Pavana are nearing the end of their days. Their daughter, Kassimena, who has not gone missing is a child. Pavana's sister Sohni (the one dating Kermit) is also in this house, but is just an adult. Recently Pavana and Sohni's older sister came to live with them as well since she too was getting up in age.

At the other huge Mahali home, Beth is now an elder. She lives with Kathy Rose and the triplets. The triplets have just became children.

This all leads the to question "who is going to take care of the children when the elders die?" For Beth Mahali she is leaving the triplets to her daughter Kathy Rose. Despite being put down as the one to be their legal guardian once Beth dies, I do not think Kathy Rose wants the responsibility of such a huge house and three children. Also they do not have much money in the bank anymore which is leading to the fact that they have to move out of the huge home they live in and downsize.

Kevin's daughter on the other hand would then be left to Kevin's sister in law (the one dating his vampire grandfather). She does not seem responsible enough to take care of any children, especially since last night she got drunk, missed work, then called Kermit over just to be blown off by him (see picture later on). Today she was helplessly thinking about Kermit. She should really find a better guy and move on.

Naturally I am thinking once these tragic deaths occur, which could be at any moment, that the two households join. However, I also think two unqualified guardians are not better than one. All the other siblings are occupied with their own jobs and families to help out. I really do not see what is going to happen here.

I have been taking a break from sims, but today I wanted to return. I am playing my Mahali family again and trying to find out what I want to do. It is taking an extremely long time to reach a sixth generation which is kind of disappointing to me.

I decided to go and visit the first fourth generation  child I took. I do not know how many moons ago I played this part of the Mahali family, but it was a long time ago. Belle Mahali, named after her great grandmother,  is the oldest child of Dominic and Beth Mahali. She has spent her life working in the business field with her boyfriend Hector Hemms. Now as she gets older she wanted to have the chance of a child, so she and Hector adopted Heidi. Heidi Hemms-Mahali is a workaholic just like her new parents,  a genius and the only bad trait being a kleptomaniac.

She is a lucky child to join in the great Mahali family, and while she will have no claim to any of the main Mahali houses, fame, or fortune she will be set for life with a large family who is always there for any member no matter how distant the relation.

Updates

1.  Jamie Ann and Kathy Rose became young adults. Jamie Ann and Micheal have moved into their own small home and got engaged. Jamie Ann and Micheal both, despite coming from rich families, want to try and make a living for themselves. We will see how well that goes since both were so used to having everything handed to them.

2. I started a new family in Rosefield. Marciana Applewood who is writer, witch, and  single mom of a child Ana and toddler Lacey. They live with a middle class man who is an artist, Mathias Leopold who is secretly a vampire.

Earlier this morning he admitted he was a vampire, and though it was slightly alarming to Marciana she accepted it and now they are actually dating.

3. Returning to the Rushing family (the richest family of Rosefield) I found the parents to be slightly juiced with a guest over. Maribel Rushing gave the guest a "juiced kiss" which of course made her husband very angry. It was intense for a while, but it seems that everything has worked out for now.

Who's the newest Mahali? ME!

So much has happened in the last few days in my sims game.

1st-  Dominic Jr and Sonia got married at the Mahali home. They moved out.

2nd- Greg Mahali ended up being friends to my sim that I do not remember putting in the game. We ended up dating, and getting married. I am now pregnant with my first child as Breanna Mahali. I am a writer. Greg is really taking after his genes because he wants to be a sculptor and handy man.

3rd- We moved into a custom house I built with Jamie Ann because I wanted to work on Jamie Ann's relationship with her boyfriend. Jamie Ann just got a job at the grocery store, but skipped her first night of work to go to prom. She is definitely more concerned with being popular, even though she wants to be a surgeon  when she grows up. It is difficult for her to be separated from her twin, but she is working on it.

4th- Dominic and Beth had triplets, yes triplets. Iris, Issac and Isaiah.

5th- A day or so after Greg and Breanna moved into their new home with Jamie Ann Dominic has passed away. The great Dominic Mahali is finally dead (even though his vampire parents are still alive and kicking). Beth also is now an elder. Which begs the question, who will look after the triplets once Beth is gone? Jamie Ann's twin  Kathy Rose lives there but she is a teenager. A teenager who is goth.

Happy 3 year Anniversary Dominic and Beth Mahali

Dominic and Beth Mahali have been together for 42 sims days or 3 sim years ! Let us all say a big congratulations to the awesome couple for surviving  their days together with few fights, and never straying. The couple has faced many challenges, such as having two kids from previous marriages with them when they met. These children hated each other, and still to this day do not get along. Dominic and Beth got through it. They have made it through the birth of 8 kids together, a couple sets of twins included. They have four grandchildren and are proudly still counting.

They have just  now witnessed all their children reach their teenage years, only to find out that Beth is pregnant with their ninth child together. (Yes for those of you counting that makes 13 total children). This child does have a clue what it is getting into.

As I was saying, the youngest children (not counting the unborn one of course) just turned into teenagers. Could the battle of raising two very independent and spoiled twin daughters be the one that Dominic and Beth finally lose?

Meanwhile their youngest set of boy twins are now young adults. Dominic Jr is currently dating  a young single mother who just moved to town, and Greg is working on being in the military.

Varick Family

Bethany has finally married Prince Varick after their long engagement. After which she became Bethany Varick, but shortly after hyphened her last name to be Mahali-Varick. Bethany just gave birth to their first son, Dominic named after Bethany's father. Dominic will hopefully eventually get his named hyphened too. 

I was building a house for the new family, but it was going to be too expensive so I moved them into a home they can expand on. This home was once lived in Tommy and Victoria Mahali. Victoria is Bethany's great aunt. Funny how you can track those things, and on accident too.

 I now plan on going check back in on the founding family Dominic and Beth Mahali to work on helping out the youngest ones of the fourth generation who are still living at home.
