Willow Creek "Soap Opera"

What I planned on starting was my own soap opera, called Willow Creek after the sims 4 town where the family my soap opera focuses on lives. I suppose I can still update it, because I have a plan to work on building up the families of the whole town and not just one or two families. That is my hope anyway! It really is a soap opera, and I mean it gets crazy. I am not responsible for all the things these sims do, only some of it!

A lot has happened the past two days in Willow Creek. So much so I am not even sure the best way to break down what has happened. ( I do not even want to know how long these posts are going to be once the working expansion pack is released and all the craziness that will accompany it).

The Beginning

At the start of this game I made two families who are really rich, the Lovett's and the Kincaid's. I began with wanting them to have a feud, but only one of Lovett's hated all the Kincaid's, all the rest were impartial to each other, or even began to like each other. That plan went down the gutter real fast, but at least the feud existed for one of them.

The Kincaid family I have not played, so I do not remember much about them except that the mom of the family is Hope, and they have a son named Colin. He ends up being good friends with Kyla, the daughter of the Hunter and Brielle Lovett.

The original Lovett household consisted of Hunter, who had a wife Brielle and a daughter Kyla. Living with them was his brother Harry.

So one thing lead to another and Brielle flirted with Harry in front of her husband, which obviously made Hunter extremely angry. Within one day of moving in Brielle and Hunter were divorced. Able to seduce Harry, Brielle ended up pregnant. She was extremely jealous when Harry began to date one of the Kincaid relative's, Hope's sister Lorena (pictured below). She was so jealous and upset that she cried herself to sleep, and even cried in her sleep. I am not joking I have video taken of it, and if I could upload it I would.

Despite Brielle's jealousy Harry and Lorena eloped and got married. Brielle extremely upset by the whole thing even though they never really dated, moved out of the house.

New Beginnings

Hunter ended up befriending a really nice girl who is also named Lorena, Lorena Keeling. Yes, it is confusing that both brothers have romantic involvements with Lorena's. The blonde Lorena is Hunter's and the red Lorena (pictured above) is Harry's.  Hunter ends up engaged quite quickly to his Lorena (the blonde one).

Harry's wife Lorena (the red hair one) ended up pregnant and was expecting their child at any moment.

Hunter and his wife Lorena (the blonde one) got married, and were quickly expecting their first child as well. Lorena is an excellent step-mom to Kyla, as she helps her with her homework and actually takes time to talk to her and care for her. Before that Kyla was ignored by her real mom Brielle, and her father worked a lot so she barely got time with him. Lorena also befriended the other Lorena, even though the rest of the household (including her husband) ignored her. Overall blonde Lorena is my favorite sim in this soap opera so far. Her and Hunter end up having a baby boy together.

Harry "The Play-Boy" Lovett

Sadly, Harry gets his own section because the rest of the events mostly focus around him and his playboy attitude. Even though he is married, he ends up getting a girlfriend named Kaley Bliss (see below), who just moved to town. Kaley somehow moved into the home, and convinced Harry to divorce Lorena (red hair one). Following their divorce Lorena gave birth to Harry's first child, a daughter named Saire. 

Harry then eloped with Kaley, who was much happier since she was deeply upset over the fact she was not pregnant. So much so, that she goes up and is the first one to hold Saire. By that night however she will have no more reason to be upset as she does in fact end up pregnant.

 Of course Harry is not completely loyal to Kaley either, as he could not help himself one day when a maid comes to clean the house he charms her into bed, and also gets her pregnant (she has yet to have the kids but I see her walking around town pregnant).

Kaley did end up catching Harry flirting with this maid, but did not do anything about it despite stomping around angrily all day. She did spend a lot of the day running around and yelling at poor unsuspecting people. By the end of the day she had forgiven him enough to sleep in the same bed with him, and even wanted to hug him. Harry dodged a bullet that day.

Meanwhile Kyla aged up for her birthday, and her very pregnant mother stopped by. Unlike red-haired Lorena, Brielle was still on fairly good terms with Harry, so she even hugged him when she stopped by.

Eventually, Kaley caught Harry flirting with another woman named Pearl Colgate who just moved to town with her really old grumpy husband. Harry and her are boyfriend and girlfriend, although for a time they were "just friends". Kaley finally divorced Harry a day after their son was born, but at least she finally dumped him!  Harry, frustrated with his living situation, moved out into his own home.

Harry is now engaged again to a Faith, who he did not even kiss until they are dating (yes he is still the boyfriend of the maid, and Pearl but who is counting x cough x me x cough x.). This at first glance seems to be the one he could settle down with, but she really just wants a rich house. Since Harry no longer lives in a rich house, Faith went and found a rich bachelor and is now pregnant with his child. I suppose it is time Harry gets  a bit of his own medicine right?

As my sneak preview showed a crazy amount has happened in my Willow Creek soap opera. There is so much that multiple posts are likely needed to explain it all! Again if you did not see my last post I have added pages to my blog! These pages focus on specific families in the sims or specific games. They start at the first post about the family and will hopefully end at the most recent post. The Mahali family being the most blogged about family is still being compiled. 

Anyway, back to the Willow Creek soap opera...

Kyla

Kyla is the daughter of Brielle and Hunter. She was a geek as a child, and tries her hardest to be a good student. She is dating Erick, who she has gone as far as "messing around" with, and they also have exchanged promise rings (cute!). However, she is becoming closer with Colin Kincaid, but they are just good friends.

Red Haired Lorena's Return

Lorena Hopkin's with her daughter Saire, that she shares with Harry now lives across from Harry's new home that he shares with his fiance Faith.  Despite their epic melt down that has resulted in their relationship bars being completely red (more red that I could have ever imagined), Lorena still has them as soulmates. I would love to see this couple get back together, but right now they only dislike each other more with every interaction that they have. I have no faith that they will be able to turn it around.

Kyla

Kyla has had a lot of things happen since I last posted about her. To refresh your memory, Kyla is the daughter of Hunter and Brielle. Kyla did go on to marry her boyfriend Eric once she became an adult. Her and Colin Kincaid continue to be best friends. So much so that the two moved into a home together with their spouses. Kyla and Erick had a daughter named Brylee, and Colin and his wife had a son. Right now they are just children, but my plan and hope is that these two will get together in the future. I believe that it is Colin who becomes a police officer, but I am not positive.

Red Haired Lorena

Lorena married Gunner in a small ceremony at their home, which if I haven't mentioned yet is right across the street from Harry's home. She is taking care of Saire. 

Pearl Colgate

To earn Pearl Colgate's love is a hard one Bella Goth's son has found out. In the irony of it all the only one she loves is Harry who has about 5 girlfriends/ fiance's on any given day. Becoming friends Bella Goth's son invited her and her twin daughters to live with them at the Goth Mansion. She gratefully accepted.

Harry Lovett 

I will make sure to attach an updated family tree. He has many kids via many sims. Harry continued in his ways, especially when he met Bella Goth. Yes, Bella Goth, one of the most famous sims. She visited his home one day, after the death of her husband and invited him over to her house. Even though he found Pearl there, who was extremely happy to see the love of her life, he slept with Bella by that night (I know! I am rolling my eyes too!). It gets better though because after asking Bella to be his girlfriend, he moved on to flirting with her daughter Cassandra who also slept with him then, which is the cause to Bella's jealousy in the photo I posted in the sneak peak preview. All of this was done while he was engaged to Faith who was an elder as she was that much older than him, and raising her two kids she had with the rich guy who died a few days after. 

Karma

By now you are either horrified, disgusted, entertained or all three by Harry's behavior.  Maybe you are still "shipping" red haired Lorena and Harry as they are soul mates.  Maybe you were glad she found Gunner, and that Harry was with his cheating spouse Faith.  Maybe you just do not care about this dude at all. Well, whatever your feelings about him you are about to either be happy, crushed or thoroughly entertained. As you can see I have bolded and enlarged the header for this section titled karma. Harry is about to get what he deserves.

(Before I go into Harry, Faith received her Karma first. She ended up dying of over exhaustion in her old age. No one, including her kids was that upset about it. Instead her son went and got her urn, and took it inside. It was kind of weird to be honest.)

Being on the  "Lorry" side (or the for Lorena and Harry side), I decided I would try to get the two to make up again. Now as you can see from the last post, it resulted in her getting engaged and eventually married and only strengthened their hatred. Despite this, I still was determined to make them fall back in love. I thought that they belonged together and the bond of the daughter that they share being his oldest child would amount to something.

So, Harry went to Lorena's house and was as nice as he could be and asked to get back on good terms with her. This worked a little bit. After talking for a while they actually no longer became enemies, and were on their way to becoming friends. It was all going extremely well, until the next day. The next day Harry tried to flirt with her. She rejected it and as a result Harry was mortified. A new thing that I have learned in the past week (as I have had it happen to two sims in the past week), is they can literally die from embarrassment.  This is exactly what happened to Harry. 

Now this was kind of upsetting to me, but not so much because of him dying, but because of what happened next. Of course naturally his brother was walking down the side walk, to find his dead brother lying there. His brother broke out into a sob, and would continue to cry over his brother body for a long time. If that was not bad enough Pearl had also come to visit Harry, and when she saw Harry lying on the sidewalk she let out a yelp, yes a sim yelped, and began to sob even harder than Hunter. The whole thing was devastating. Being the last adult in the household, the kids were taken by social services and the game"ended". I just went and played with Hunter's household again, and had his wife adopt a child. I believe the child to be one of the kids that was taken, but am not positive.
